ASHRAE International Conference on Energy and Indoor Environment for Hot Climates

The Second International Conference on Energy and Indoor Environment for Hot Climates is on February 26th through the 27th this year in Doha, Qatar. Purafil’s Technical Director, Chris Muller, will be presenting his paper: ASHRAE Standard 62.1 and LEED: Using Enhanced Air Cleaning to Integrate IAQ and Energy Conservation. Chris Muller co-authored the paper with Youssef Zouggari, Purafil’s Sales Manager in the region, along with Hassan Chamas of Innovations Technical Equipment Trading Co, a Purafil representative operating out of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The conference is organized by ASHRAE, ASHRAE Qatar Oryx Chapter, and Qatar University, held at the Intercontinental Doha City Hotel. From the ASHRAE website, “this conference addresses energy and IAQ issues in humid and arid hot climates. The scope of the conference is to provide a forum for discussion of the latest research and development in the field of indoor environmental quality in high ambient temperature climates.”
