Rob Carpio is the President of Purafil, Inc. – a subsidiary of Filtration Group. Filtration Group’s mission is to make the world safer, healthier and more productive by creating innovative filtration solutions that deliver outstanding customer value. Prior to joining Purafil, Rob served as Group Vice President for Precision Castparts Corporation (a Berkshire Hathaway company), where he had P&L responsibility for a ~$400 million aerospace manufacturing business in North America. Before Precision Castparts, Rob held positions of increasing, global responsibility in operations & engineering at Alcoa Corporation, where he joined after serving as a consultant & engagement manager at the global management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company. Rob proudly began his career in the United States Army. Rob is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. He also holds a Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and a MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
Greg Langston is Vice President of Sales. He joined Purafil in 2016 from Armchem International. Greg has extensive experience in general management and sales globally in technical industries, including Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Thomas & Betts, SPX, and Con-Air. Greg will provide Purafil with a unified commercial strategy to drive market growth globally and provide best-in-class service to our current and future customers.
Alan Block is the Operations Manager. He joined Purafil in 2009 after working at Georgia-Pacific for thirteen years and serving in the U.S. Army. Alan leads the manufacturing, engineering, logistics, order development, and purchasing departments. He has held various supervisory and managerial positions in manufacturing, supply chain, and IT implementation. He affirms the Purafil commitment to deliver products and services of superior quality and value.
John Michael McCracken is the Controller. He joined Purafil in 2011 as Assistant Controller and was promoted to the executive team in 2015. Working with both privately-held manufacturers and publicly-traded global entities, John Michael offers expertise in cost control, relationship management, and client/employee satisfaction. A results-focused leader, he is committed to increasing profitability and shareholder value, team building, and maintaining a strong internal and financial reporting environment.
