AIR FILTRATION |
| Outside makeup air is a primary source of pollution in most any commercial facility. Outside air pollution results from the burning of fuels in automobiles and factories, and enters museums, libraries, and archives through makeup air systems. Internal sources of pollution also exist, including cleaning compounds, building occupants, and even the artifacts themselves. If not controlled, these pollutants can cause irreversible damage to works-of-art, archives, and artifacts. Purafil specializes in the engineering and manufacture of dry-chemical pellets called “media” to eliminate gaseous pollutants. Purafil media are the heart of our air filtration systems: |

We also offer stand-alone systems, which provide an extra level of protection in critical spaces, such as restoration laboratories, conservation rooms, and storage areas. Our systems are designed to meet your facility’s unique airflow requirements, pollutant levels, and space limitations. |
