Purafil Technical Director, Chris Muller, was recently named the recipient of the 2008 Maurice Simpson Technical Editors Award by the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST). Chris was nominated for his comprehensive, technical paper entitled, Comparison of Chemical Filters for the Control of Airborne Molecular Contamination. The paper was published in the 2007 Journal of the IEST, garnering Chris an award traditionally presented to authors of the best technical papers published by the IEST during the preceding year.

Purafil OnGuard® Environmental Reactivity Monitor Process Areas
Use the OnGuard® Environmental Reactivity Monitor (ERM) in sensitive process areas to identify AMC episodes and prevent future AMC occurrences.
Fan Filter Units
Use the OnGuard ERM to verify the performance of chemical filters. Place the OnGuard ERM at the inlet and discharge of fan filter units and air handling units. As shown in the graph, data obtained from the OnGuard ERM located at the discharge of Purafil chemical filters in a makeup air handler verifies the effectiveness of the filters at controlling AMC.
