DRY-CHEMICAL MEDIA |
Purafil dry-chemical media remove airborne molecular contaminants (AMC) through an instantaneous and irreversible process known as chemisorption. During this process, the media’s active ingredient transforms the contaminant into a stable solid, which remains trapped inside the porous cavity of the pellet. Purafil offers a custom selection of engineered media, each designed to target specific contaminants. Using select Purafil media in combination ensure complete and targeted control of multiple gaseous contaminants. Why use Purafil media? • Purafil continues to invest in the research and development of new patented media, media formulas, and manufacturing techniques to assure our customers of the highest return on investment. • Purafil manufactures its media from raw materials and controls every phase of the manufacturing process to ensure media are built to the exact specifications of porosity, moisture content, and hardness. Third-party laboratory studies prove Purafil media offer the highest capacity for control of gaseous contaminants. • Purafil media are non-toxic and non-hazardous as supplied, do not support bacterial or fungal growth, and are UL Classified. |
