Through the successful advancement and promotion of new and existing company products and technologies, the Director of Business Development will foster new revenue streams, increase profit margins, and provide sustainable returns on Purafil’s business investments in support of the company business plan.
The Director of Business Development will report directly to the company President; and is expected to originate, build, and implement an integrated plan to provide strategic innovative solutions for the broader global marketplace. Purafil ESD meets the demand for high-efficiency odor control systems at pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities. This division of Purafil is dedicated to the development of innovative and superior clean air solutions for the wastewater market.
This position supports our global ESD sales and manufacturing. The ESD Project Engineer will assist in overseeing custom equipment orders from design phase to delivery of product. This role will require up to 25% travel on an as-needed basis for equipment start-up, inspections, vendor specifications and customer training.
The ESD Project Engineer will be responsible for managing multiple custom equipment orders with project timelines ranging from 6 months to 2 years. The position will read and analyze engineering specifications for municipals and government jobs. In addition to managing accepted orders, this role will assist the sales managers with pre-bid drawings and submittal packages. This individual will generate drawing in 2D and 3D as well as update current 2D drawings to 3D Inventor drawings. This position requires close interaction with all internal departments. This position requires the following education and experience:
• A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a must. Masters in Industrial Engineering or Production is a
plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in municipality/ government business, specific to HVAC design, FRP tank design,
fluid flow, chemical process background or similar is preferred.
• ISO experience is a plus.
• Must be experienced in CAD; proficiency in Inventor is a plus.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects from concept to installation simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
• Must be detail oriented and able to take on added responsibility.
• Must be customer service oriented.

Purafil ESD meets the demand for high-efficiency odor control systems at pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities. This division of Purafil is dedicated to the development of innovative and superior clean air solutions for the wastewater market.
This position serves as a central communication point for customers and Manufacturer Representatives relating to ESD Sales. This role will require national and possibly international travel up to 50% of the time.
The Regional Sales Manager for ESD is expected to manage a network of exclusive representatives throughout the United States. This individual will prepare technical specifications, proposals and quotations. They will be customer service oriented; responding quickly to questions regarding Purafil products, designs, pricing, lead time and quality. This position will assist with the design of gas phase filtration systems, training and management of sales representatives and reporting of revenue figures for this division. This position requires the following education and experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of similar experience in an outside sales environment is required.
• A Bachelor Degree in a related field is required; engineering or related technical degree is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
• Strong recordkeeping and organizational skills.
• Proven managerial capabilities over both people and processes.
