Core Technology

Purafil manufactures a variety of dry-chemical air purification media that are the core of each air filtration system and chemically transform gases into harmless solids through an irreversible process, known as chemisorption. Purafil media are non-toxic, non-hazardous, UL Classified, landfill disposable, and life testable.

Products and Services Customized Filters
Purafil media can be placed in pleated filters, for retrofit into existing HVAC systems, or disposable, plastic modules, as part of side or front access air filtration systems. For each facility we serve, systems are designed according to airflow requirements, space availability, and types of contaminants present.


Enersave™

Purafil’s Enersave program allows for significant savings on capital equipment and operating costs by reducing the need for outside air. Purafil's Enersave Program:

• Employs the Purafilter® which contains chemicals to control pollution and is designed to replace existing particulate filters in retrofit or rework applications

• Works in new and existing commercial buildings to improve IAQ

• Provides documentation and ongoing verification reports to comply with ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2004.
